Google Earth: Now with Google Sky
| Google has expanded it's Google Earth app with Google Sky. Google Sky lets you view the sky in your current location as well as zoom in on various planets or constellations. The key combination of Ctrl+Alt+A (if you're running OS X it's Command+Option+A) to invoke the hidden Flight Simulator feature. |  |

Google Streets Adds Four More Cities
Google Streets has added four more cities (San Diego, Los Angeles, Houston and Orlando), bringing it to a total of 9 cities covered so far. Unfortunately, my city still not among those included.  |  |

Google Maps: Now with StreetView

Actual Release Date for Apple iPhone?
| If rumors are to be believed, the release date for the much talked about Apple iPhone would be June 11th (coinciding nicely with the beginning of the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference). And for yet another rumor, according to The Register, apparently Google and Apple will be teaming up together for the iPhone, or idPhone as it now seems to be called. |  |

Google Desktop: Critical Flaw Patched
| The Register reports that a critical flaw in Google Desktop has been patched. A failure in Google Desktop to "properly encode output containing malicious or unexpected characters" which could potentially enable hostile JavaScript code to be used to control Google Desktop and thus peruse through user's personal computer files. Evidently, there is no evidence the vulnerability has been exploited. | |

Google Apps
| According to both The Register and TechCrunch, Google is set to roll out the Google Apps Premium Edition suite, which includes Google Docs & Spreadsheets, as well as Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Talk. It sounds like for a $50.00 fee, you get 10 GB of storage (compared with 2 GB of storage for the free version) as well as 24x7 support. You also get the backend APIs to hook the Google Suite into existing corporate systems. Update (3/03/07): One thing I forgot to mention in the original posting is that there are other companies, Zoho and ThinkFree to name a couple, that also have online Office applications as well. |  |
