| According to MacNN, Apple will be offering ring tones for sale in the iTunes music store for iPhone owners. However, at Macworld, iToner might beat Apple to the punch for ringtones. Looking at the iToner site, it looks promising, especially since it seems that you can use any .mp3 or aac file. Update (9/07/07): There are now several articles around the web now on how you can essentially transform any song you own (whether or not you purchased it from the iTunes Store) into a free ringtone for your iPhone via a pretty simple method (here and here). Note#2: Audacity works well for pulling out small snippets from your favorite song. | ![]() |
