Movie: Mystic River

Well, after promising to move the movie: Mystic River up on my "must see" list, I did finally finish watching it yesterday, and, not surprisingly, I was blown away. Sean Penn's performance espcially was incredible (and not surprisingly he won the Best Actor Academy Award). Tim Robbins also deservedly picked up the Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance as well. However, there are strong acting performances all the way around as well as good directing and writing.
