| The release date for the Apple iPhone has been officially set to June 29th. And since it seems that the iPhone will now allow third party apps to be installed (and with Google supposedly readying applications for this device), it is going to be quite hard for me to resist the lure (especially with my Sony Ericsson T637 dying on the vine Apple has the TV promo ads ready as well. Update (6/11/07): I just realized that I will be in Canada (attending the Linux Symposium Conference) when the iPhone debuts. Update (6/12/07): According to Steve Jobs' Keynote address at the WWDC conference, he confirmed that Smartphone developers will be able to develop web apps for the iPhone using the Safari web browser.
