Microsoft to drop DRM from Zune store

Microsoft has announced that it will be dropping DRM from some of it's songs in the Zune music store. This announcement, not surprisingly, followed on the heels of the Apple announcement to sell the entire EMI catalog DRM-free in it's iTunes music store. The implication of the Microsoft announcement is that the DRM-free songs wouldn't be just limited to the EMI catalog.
We'll see....
